Generate a plan when ready

Edit the dates, capacity, weekdays, and subjects, then generate again. Plans are held in memory and disappear if you refresh.

Assumptions

A plan is a capacity estimate

Sessions are scheduled on selected local calendar dates, capped at 60 minutes, and never placed after a subject deadline. Earlier deadlines come first, then higher priority. A plan can report unscheduled work when the inputs cannot fit; it never silently marks that work complete.

The quick guide

A practical plan starts with capacity

The planner makes its assumptions visible so an incomplete plan is easier to fix than an overconfident one.

Worked example

If Monday and Wednesday each have 60 minutes, a subject due Wednesday is scheduled before work due Friday. A 90-minute workload may appear as a 60-minute session and a 30-minute session.

How ordering works

Earlier deadlines come first. When deadlines match, higher priority comes first; if those also match, the original subject order is retained so results remain predictable.

Important assumptions

Refreshes clear the plan

The current release keeps inputs and generated schedules in browser memory only. It does not use accounts, localStorage, a backend, or notifications. Daily capacity is limited to 1,440 minutes, each subject estimate to 100,000 minutes, and total workload to 1,000,000 minutes. Sessions are capped at 60 minutes, generation considers up to 3,660 calendar days and 10,000 sessions, uses selected local calendar dates, and never runs after a deadline. Work that cannot fit is listed as unscheduled.

FAQ

What happens when there is not enough time?

The planner schedules as much as fits and lists the remaining minutes under “Work that could not fit.” It never silently drops workload or calls an impossible plan complete.

Why are sessions limited to 60 minutes?

Shorter sessions are a practical default that makes a schedule easier to start and adjust. You can receive multiple sessions on a day when the daily capacity allows it.

Can I download the plan?

Yes. After generating a plan, Download .txt creates a plain-text file locally in your browser. The text is not sent to a server.
