Choose your files once. Trim each clip, then adjust the shared volume and fades. Join exports all clips in their displayed order; the other tools export only the selected clip.
Supported files and limits
Use up to 5 clips, 128 MB each, 160 MB of encoded files total, and 10 minutes of combined source audio. Mono and stereo only. Input formats depend on browser decoding: WAV and MP3 are the starting point; M4A/AAC, Ogg, FLAC and WebM may work where supported. Unknown duration, unsupported formats or excessive decoded memory produce an error. Short clips work better on phones.
Export formats
Choose Export, then MP3 or WAV. MP3 quality offers Auto, 128, 192 or 320 kbps. Auto chooses one of those three bitrates using channel count and representative audio detail, balancing quality and file size; it cannot measure original recording quality or restore lost detail. MP3 uses lossy compression for smaller files. Higher bitrates use more space; converting to MP3 again can reduce quality. MP3 can include a small amount of encoder padding. WAV output is uncompressed 44.1 kHz, 16-bit PCM WAV, up to 128 MB. Audio is decoded and resampled by the browser; this is not lossless cutting of MP3 or preservation of the original encoding, metadata or bit depth. Output can be larger than the original. Mono clips are duplicated into left and right channels when joined with stereo clips.
Fades and clipping
Fades are linear and apply independently to each trimmed clip. They do not crossfade overlapping clips. Volume above 100% may clip; the optional clipping protection reduces the whole output if needed. It does not remove noise or repair existing distortion. Listen at a comfortable device volume.
Privacy and downloads
No selected audio, filenames or waveform data are uploaded, and this workspace requests no microphone permission. Only anonymous daily operation and outcome counts are sent; audio content and metadata are excluded. General website analytics remain separate. Files are held in this tab; clearing or leaving loses the session. Keep downloads before leaving. Read the privacy policy.
